Last day

My last day at my mountain elementary school was one of the best. It started out with a heartfelt farewell ceremony, then I got to go play in a river with the younger grades. Next up was an hour of games with the big kids. Before lunch I showed my middle grades money from around the world and ended up giving them each a bill. They were thrilled. I remember how much I liked getting Turkish money from my grandpa so I wanted to share he experience with my students.
After an all-school game of freeze tag at lunch recess I swam joined the big kids in their swimming lesson.

It was an awesome day and a great final memory at that school.
