Workplace greenery

There are 2 sites for the general hospital in our city. The first site is the main place for inpatients,and Accident & Emergency. The grounds there are mainly car park, with the odd patch of green. I work at the second, quieter site where it is mostly Outpatients and rehabilitation wards.

These are the grounds as you enter the hospital, and despite the main road, and the proximity to the city centre, this area can be quite a haven from the workplace. If I ever get to take my lunch break, I sometimes sit out here to read in the sunshine.

Praise to the gardeners who do a sterling job cutting the grass and tending the beautiful tubs and hanging baskets which brighten up the site.
