Art time

Today CJ and I had a quiet morning at home - although we had differing ideas on what we should do. If it was up to CJ, he would have spent all morning playing with his trains. But I thought it best to have a variety of activities including some drawing on the aqua doodle - which I then couldn't keep him away from.

After lunch we headed out to the hospital, as bubs had a growth scan scheduled. As it was going to be a long appointment (with a scan and consultant appointment) S2 met us there.

CJ was very well behaved, fascinated by all the equipment that was used on me. And bubs is sticking to his perfectly average growth curve - which is great news! It also meant we only needed a brief chat with the consultants and anaesthetist team.

When we got home S2 and CJ headed straight to the playroom to continue building the expansion of the train track - by bedtime every piece of track had been used and it ran the length and width of the room with multiple inner loops and crosses! I have to admit, they did an amazing job!
