Blacko watermeetings

There are many places in this part of Lancashire called " watermeetings"...they simply mean where different rivers or streams meet up or cross. This is where Pendle water meets and crosses Blacko water. Its mine and Alfs very regular nightly walk...one of his favourite places as the water is shallow and either side of this picture the hills steepen and he can run about like a loon whilst I sit on the edge and he can keep checking I'm there!
Sun was setting as we got through the woods to it tonight. Finished work, then felt the need to get head under water and swim....swam a mile in the pool and then came and got Alf and walked 3 miles with him.
So reckon I 'd earned the steak and red wine whilst watching Celebrity Masterchef final....and my favourite won !! Won't give away in case anyone's still to watch....tho have loved Wayne Sleep and his pirouetting out last night was wonderful! Have a great weekend all.
