Miss Pink's teaching assistant is getting married in two weeks, and as it was the last day of term, some of the mums got together to send her off in an appropriate way. She donned a veil for school pick up and I made her this rosette to wear in her wedding colours. My friend had organised a collection for her, and we had collected enough to buy some lovely presents for her. And of course we all dressed up in our wedding attire and threw confetti over her!

It's been an emotional day, Miss Pink said goodbye to her year 6 Buddy, who wrote her a beautiful letter, and gave her some very thoughtful presents. Miss Pink finished foundation class, which is a bit of a lump in the throat moment of it's own. Master Pink had some lovely leaving presents from his teacher and teaching assistant, and even his dinner lady. Both mini pinks are exhausted. I am too. As much as the six weeks holiday daunts me, we need it.
