It is Friday

I was late arriving at Burgundy's last night but a great joy when I got there as it was the Quincy Street Quintet. Led by Peter Major (keyboards) with Dave Lee (reeds), Laurence Canty (bass), Peter Boocock (drums) and Fran Lee (vocals).

I sketched Dave - so much character and talent. and this is as far as I got in sketching the lovely Fran. Although they are father and daughter the unfinished sketch serves to emphasise the difference between them. And this is a video I did with Fran introducing the quintet at the end - see it here
