Escaping the heat ......
on the coast at Felixstowe where although it was a little cooler than inland still very hot and reaching around 80 degrees! We sat in the gardens of The Ferry Boat Inn under an umbrella with a cooling sea breeze eating our freshly cooked fish and chips and as you can see Bracken is looking on waiting patiently for his piece of fish. We then had a walk along the beach but even with the high temperatures we couldn't tempt him into the sea and didn't spend too long on the beach as the temperatures were far too hot for dogs to be out in. Back into the air conditioning of the car and a drive along to the Port of Felixstowe which is an interesting place to watch the different cargo ships coming in and off-loading but again far too hot to spend too long outside so we all retreated back into the air conditioning of the car with a cooling ice cream and watched the comings and goings from there!
