This shoe appeared when the snow had melted.

We came across it on our way to the swimming pool to buy a new swimming hat for L. I quite liked it and would have kept it had it been a pair and the right size. But in the end it had to be the blip for this day.

We had a very successful afternoon, L got new welly boots and instead of the flowery pink ones she chose the blue ones with yellow because "yellow is my favourite colour now!" That's my girl! (Maybe I should think about joining the pinkstinks campaign?) Although none of the girls have yet shown an over-interest for pink so far so I think we might be safe on the pink front.

At home L helped with some of the chores and got her first pocket money - let's see how long she actually enjoys helping and here's hoping she doesn't blow all the money on sweets immediately...
