Tiny Tufties!

.... and I thought the nursery season was over for another year or it could be that the birds on Maxwell Park pond are just a bit slow! I lost count of the number of mallard chicks scooting across the water and then I spotted these two - I knew they weren't mallards or coots ...... so what were they? I saw my first ever female tufted duck (a blip for another day if she is still there) preening herself so checked up on young tufted ducks when I came home and that is what they are!
