The Triffid cometh...

....to our village. Our neighbour came to coffee the other day & she hadn't realised that the 'Old Mans Beard' had grown out of her hedge (used to be ours) so much!

The tiny flowers are actually very pretty & I included the gorgeous deep pink orchid that was a surprise present from R at the weekend! Lovely. Romance is alive in West Somerset & it shows that the Triffids haven't taken over completely!

Too hot for me today......
