It isn’t like this in the Winter!

There are no queues at stiles in the winter months, but today there were a lot of people walking the Wall – and walking on the Wall as these two girls are doing! It was sunny and warm, but windy.

This is Hadrian’s Wall near Caw Gap. If you look large, you can see the Wall snaking away over the hillsides into the distance. And here is another view from further back.

A short walk in the fresh air to recover from the bill at the end of a trip to Waitrose. Always exceedingly dangerous for the two of us to shop there – a good thing there isn’t one closer to where we live is all I can say.
