Finger Rock
Due to reasons beyond my control I am struggling to take photos at present and so here is another drawing........
One of three illustrations I am working on for a forthcoming climbing guidebook to the Aladaglar Mountains (Crimson Mountains) of south central Turkey being written by a friend, Recep Ince, a superb climber and mountaineer, who runs a mountain hut there. I have often climbed here and love this national park area which is regarded locally as a sort of mini Dolomites with peaks up to 3700m and dramatic limestone terrain.
The image shows a climber abseiling from the famous 230m rock pinnacle called Parmakkaya (Finger Rock).
