Anderston
I've always found the Anderston area to be fascinating: a glimpse of that weird Brave New World of post-war planners. It was probably the most fully-realised of the Comrehensive Development Plans of Glasgow after the war.
Much of it has gone now, particularly the residential parts west of the M8, and the old bus station is long gone (thank God). This particular office block at the east end now sits a bit isolated: the blunt end reminds me in a weird way of Moby Dick. This is it from Argyle Street: I've blipped it before from the car park on Waterloo Street to the north.
