El Dorado!

Today we were off looking for El Dorado, he fabled city of gold, in the Andean mountains! More specifically we weent to see an old circular lake that was used by the (proper) local people as a place of worship and prayer (which happened to include gifts made of gold). It was a really beautiful place and the lake and the hstory great. It was thanks to our driver Harold that we went at all, as we werent planning to.... (!).

Then we went off to a nice town or two (lots of old guys in ponchos!), stopping for lunch of local chicken specialiy which was great, and then to a salt mine area.

Then home and more Tamales!
