Summer Skies

Last night was a rare treat, out in the back garden with the telescope in just shorts, t-shirt and flip flops until 11.30pm when the clouds started to roll in indicating bed time ! Pictured here is the Ring Nebula M57 in the constellation of Lyra and Albireo a double star in the constellation of Cygnus interesting because one of the stars is reddish contrasting with the bluish smaller one.
