Over the Crown Range . . . . .

. . . . . to my daughter's home at Arrow Junction, near Queenstown.

GingerNan and I stayed in Wanaka last night, enjoying meeting up with one of my sons and his family and friends - and being treated to a wonderful roast lamb dinner! It was seriously yummy. We also caught up with Tussock Tales, who organised a blipmeet for us this morning, with SnowDownUnder, Cycling Granny, Sharna in Tibet and Travelling Kiwi - what fun.

This magificent view, taken from the saddle at the top of the Crown Range Road, looks across the Kawarau valley to the Remarkables Range, with Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown in the far right corner. I've marked on the map where we were when the photo was taken.
