Colour Shock

An incredibly high octane start to the week workwise, but also a day for thinking about the stuff that really matters in terms of family and those we love and care for.

I was sent some flowers today - a lovely work-related "thank you" - and wanted to capture their amazing beauty. I took a few in black and white, which showed the intricacy of the petals, but realised when reviewing I most wanted the shock of the colour, almost out of focus, to show how amazing nature can be. I haven't retouched this picture in any way - it's "as is".
