Gold Leaf!

My prop for the next week in DDW's challenge will be this beautiful gold leaf. It is a real leaf that has been preserved in gold. It is very delicate and is kept in a box most of the time. While looking for a suitable timepiece for this week's prop, I came upon the gold leaf and thought immediately; blip prop. So, I will try to be clever and use it wisely. I almost chose a chiming mantle clock, but it would not be so portable and my son disabled the lovely chimes. I don't know why he was annoyed about 12 chimes at midnight!

Our weather has finally stabilized. It was a great day to go out. I did the grocery shopping and paid some bills. Weekend is upon us again. Enjoy!
