Money flower

It used to be illegal to deface British coins. Something to do with being disrespectful to any image of the Queen. This money flower was welded together with solder back in the day when everything was game for being taken apart, put back together again, and scrutinised for useful parts for the robot we'd build one day for robot wars.

And in between doing that, we'd get bored and solder coins together. Not much to do in the countryside apart from getting drunk, throwing things on bonfires and shooting blackbirds. So really, defacing images of the queen wasn't the worst thing in the world.
