The Old Man

I had a very early start to get the forecast early morning light on the Old Man. The weather prediction did not come to pass and the mist swirled a few metres above the pinnacles for the duration of my brief visit.

I worked here a few years ago carrying out a 3D survey and cad model to accommodate the planners of a large scale out door arts event. Today was my first time back. The spot has featured in many advertisements and big budget movies over the years. Our survey technology has advanced significantly since then and I recall several bitterly cold shifts in the month of December taking thousands of measurements.
