The vanishing wall

up the hill and out of sight and it goes on and on.

Lovely family of Pied Wagtails flitting about on the wall and Starlings further up. it was hot and getting hotter today so I stayed out of it as much as possible.

Watched lots of the golf and not enough of the cricket to say if England should have done better (but probably). The Open Golf looks fantastic on TV but its not 3D so flattens out the course a bit and doesn't help explain why so many of these top golfers found it so difficult. Tom Watson said the course was there for the taking ( I suppose McIlroy and a few others came close) It looks as though the groups play well together or poorly together - If one player putts well the others follow, if one player smashes a drive left off the fairway the others follow. I'll watch more to try to understand. Sports psychologist must be a great job.
