Such a lovely Summer eve and I took mum for a walk after dinner and then my daughter called me from Crete where she'd just arrived at her papa.
A happy reunion that soon was overshadowed by her papa's big unease as he'd learned the news of the Malaysian aircraft that crashed in Ukraine and it's a plane that departed from Amsterdam with SNP tourists reported of being on board. I'd not heard that news yet and goosepimps cover my skin since.

Our son works for SNP and he's travelled with hikers to Asia before... his papa feared he's on board. How glad we are he's not! At the moment he's guiding a group in Europe and he just text messaged they endure lots of rain, the news shocked him and he'll learn later on who of his colleagues died in this tragic crash.
