Pette waiting to hatch!!

This is the only photo I took today!
When I walked into the classroom this morning I didn't realise that my special little boy was under our roll play grass. It wasn't till he announced that it would be 10 more seconds till 'Pette' hatched that I realised where he was! He wouldn't allow his support to count the seconds because her seconds were too short......we had to wait till Pette had hatched before any of his tasks could be done! ;)
Later I saw that he was having a lovely time climbing into the big ball cage and closing himself in! His support was telling him off for this but really...who wouldn't find that appealing!!! Hehe!

Well, after an incident at the end of the day, which left 4 of us talking in my classroom till 6:50 (only being interrupted by the cleaner hoping to get into my room before going home!) and two those colleagues then feeling the need to 'rescue' me by taking me for a coffee, I got home at 7:30 with not the slightest ounce of energy left! :(
So, no planning for tomorrow and no picnic goodies for our picnic at the park.....except for making up the ice lollies which I was determined to have!

I shouldn't be surprised by this anymore but it amazes me how draining an emotional encounter can be!!!
