1700 blips today

I haven't put an entry in to the #indyref tag yet.

Today's activity centred around a meeting to discuss Edinburgh's Christmas and New Year celebrations. On the way back I photographed Santa Claus in one of the two Christmas Shops in the Royal Mile. But r-e-a-l-l-y. No one wants to see pictures of Christmas stuff in July.

So, on the way back to the cottage, I blipped a block of flats on the corner of St Mary's Street and the Canongate in which there were signs of Yes support for the Scottish Independence Referendum. It takes place on 18 September 2014 (for my non-Scottish viewers).

Here's the info:

On Thursday 18 September 2014 there will be a referendum on independence for Scotland. A referendum asks you to vote yes or no to a proposal. At this referendum the question will be:

‘Should Scotland be an independent country?’
