Favourite field
Had to go to Oxford today for an appointment and the traffic was terrible around the ring road so decided to come back the scenic route around Wallingford and Pangbourne.
Had the most wonderful evocative drive back through some of the places I used to drive through a lot when I lived in Wallingford and drove back and forth to Bradfield to stay with T.
Wallingford looked beautiful bathed in sunshine with Union Jack flags and flower baskets hung all through the centre. About half way between Wallingford and Pangbourne is my favourite field and is my photo choice for today, I have never stopped there before to capture it but thought I would today.
It doesn't really do it justice, the hills just roll from one side of your view to the other and you can see all of the Oxfordshire countryside in the distance with the bright yellow corn fields in the foreground.
It really makes you realise how beautiful England is, especially in the sunshine :-) Hot hot hot this afternoon, ice creams, paddling pool and shade required.
