A labour of love

I took my parents and auntie out for lunch at Marine Gardens in Worthing today. Then we stopped at the English Martyrs Church in Goring to see the only known reproduction of the Sistine Chapel Ceiling in the world! It was painted by one man after a pilgrimage to Rome which inspired him to reproduce the ceiling in his own parish church. It took him over five years to complete and it was all unpaid work. He was a designer not an artist! Definitely a labour of love!
