Poppylicious

What a gloriously hot day it has been today. I decided to walk down to the writing group and I met up with Carey half way. I have neglected the book I started a long time ago and have been concentrating on short stories, but today I took a piece from the book and the others were quite favourable about it so I think it is time I get back on track with it.

As Carey and I left the library I spotted a flash of red in the garden of the Court House, so to the amusement of passing motorists I lay on the grass and took a few pics. We then went to the Secret Garden for a drink and snackette before walking home...up the hill, in the heat with my heavy camera :(

I spent the afternoon melting in the garden.
