Busy

Busy as a bee, I am! A quick blip this morning because we're off to have lunch and spend the rest of the day with old friends. Old in terms of the length of our relationship, not age! Although they don't live that far from us, we only get together once or twice a year, and we always have a great time and laugh a lot. I'm looking forward to seeing them.
It's hard to believe that a week ago, we were walking the bustling streets of Chicago. Two things that bother me most in cities: the noise level and the fact that so few people make eye contact. I went for a walk in my quiet neighbourhood this morning, saw one person in a car, made eye contact and waved, and other than that, had the road to myself for the full hour!
