Penultimate day

I was up early this morning - 5.20! I had got up just after 4 to let Tallulah out and then couldn't get back to sleep, so got up. I had things going round in my head and I thought I might as well get up and do some of them.

Penultimate day at school, and what a great way to start it by seeing this heron grooming on the buoy. Love his eye. Great day at school but the kids are all a bit manic and can't settle. The class I am in will leave the school tomorrow and go to secondary school in September. It will be an emotional day, especially the leavers assembly, where the Head says something individually to every child. Better have the tissues ready!

I was surprised when I came home to see the skip had gone - well it was full. Lots of progress to day. Sills on, bathroom sink in, grouting complete, hole in ceiling filled. Ahhh progress!
