Glastonbury Abbey

A trip to this part of Somerset wouldn't be complete without a visit to Glastonbury. We had timed our holiday to avoid the festival, but that happens a few miles away on a farm in Pilton anyway.

We walked up to see the Tor and the views. We'd had a view of it on a couple of our walks this week.

We then wandered around the town and popped into a few of the "alternative" shops.

The afternoon was spent in the abbey grounds, which I found to be a very peaceful place.
