Once a pedant, always a pedant

This newspaper poster reminded me of the importance of using an apostrophe correctly. I was in favour of the appointment of women as bishops. But if this poster is is correct might it be that they will not be there to give spiritual comfort to men?

Perhaps my reaction is just a sign that I belong to a certain generation. My children and grandchildren tell me that apostrophes should be abolished because computers find them confusing. But the above example shows how they can be important in conveying precise meaning.
