Sign of the times
This is a shop we passed while visiting Ross on Wye late this afternoon. Whilst I was taking the photo. (using my phone as WiFi reception is really poor here) a very kind gentleman limboed under my arms because the pavement was quite narrow.I was a bit disappointed with Ross on Wye as I always thought it sounded really nice. We may have missed the best bits, as the only map we found (which didn't seem to bear much resemblance to our surroundings) had had the "you are here" sign pinched. However, the streets that we walked down seemed to have a sad and run down air, and there appeared to be more charity shops and take away food outlets than anything else.We have come away to the Wye Valley for a few days. We came here a few weeks ago but there were so many interesting places to see that we didn't get round to, that we're making a return visit. If we are home we always finish up working, so it's nice to get away. We've foot our croissants and pains au chocolat ordered from the local little shop for tomorrow's brekkie.
