Starter for Ten

Was snapping away at some lovely views today and was going to post these but then saw this plant and being a complete idiot in regards to anything floral (apart from weeds) I decided to blip this and see if I could broaden my knowledge and get to know some names.

Therefore please can someone let me know what these are called so that I can then impress my dearest next time we are past this spot or pass a flower like this.
