Eighteenth Film Of The Year
We are VERY behind in our cinema trips, this was our first trip to cineworld in over a month!!
Sadly it wasn't really worth the wait.
I'm a fan of the tv show, but the film was just ok. They include the outtakes and people forgetting their lines within the film, where that works well in front of a live tv audience, it just looks a bit weird in a movie.
There was nearly riot at one point when the screen broke. Apparently cineworld had a power surge and all the screens went down. Only lasted for about 10 mins but some people were raging! Walking out of the screen and demanding refunds.
We weren't too bothered.
We got two free tickets as compensation, which is annoying cos we get as many films as we like thanks to our unlimited cards. Nice gesture on behalf of he cinema tho. We decided to pay it forward and donate the tickets to Laura's sister, we even offered to babysit.
We're nice like that.
Other highlights of our day included a trip to Pizza express( thanks to Laura's sister for gifting us with vouchers) and a couple of cocktails afterwards.
Our evening came to a close back at the bungalow, with a couple of frozen cocktails we bought to test drive our new freezer! (They were delicious and the freezer works!) and a couple of Episodes of Community! I've been a long term fan of this show, but McCombers is just getting into it, which means I get to re-watch it all from the beginning with her!
Good times!
I could get used to this holiday lifestyle!
