Home time please

This is Rufus ready for home after a very busy day out visiting family with his father (Pumba).

His day started with his regular morning walk with Jill the lab, where there is pine cones to catch and bunnies to chase (I say chase as the bunnies are very quick and are never caught).

Then it was off to visit his grandma for her 69th birthday where he was given lots of praise for being a good rat catcher ... Yes that's right he has proven to be better at that than our cat?

Next it was an hours drive up the coast to visit his other grandma, and from there was taken to visit his great grandma in hospital for lots of pats (he is very gentle with the elderly and disabled) which made her day.

Then it was the drive back home for his evening walk, still filled with energy to burn then finally in the car for home which is when I took this shot. He had some dinner and put himself to bed already ... I think this is one border collie who has had enough attention for one day.
