Seeing Red

A real damper at the end of tonight when Bb had his iPad mini stolen from his bag as we were walking up Las Ramblas. Ironic that when we were sitting on Plaza Real I kept warning our group of British and American friends not to take their eyes off their bags or leave them under the table. Then at the end of the night, Bb was the one who was targeted. As soon as we got home we changed the passwords on various things and then decided just to go for the more drastic route of remotely wiping the device clean as the chances of tracking it down are nil. An unpleasant end to an otherwise very enjoyable night meeting up with Rupert and Carol and their two boys and their American friends who are across in Europe to go to Rupert and Carols' joint 50th birthday party in Bath in the UK this coming weekend. We won't be able to go unfortunately, so it was great to see them here. Rupes was one of our close friends who studied in business school with Bb during our first two years in Barcelona from 1991-93.

Our blips were both in Bb's ipad, so this is part of one of our paintings on the wall and an emergency blip :-(
