The Horn, Polkemmet Country Park, West Lothian.

"The Horn is an elegant 24 meter tubular stainless steel structure that overlooks the M8 motorway, which periodically 'speaks' to passing vehicles.

Commissioned by West Lothian District Council and designed by Dundee-based artists Matthew Dalziel & Louise Scullion to act as a landmark halfway between Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The oval trumpet which points out onto the west-bound carriageway of the motorway, broadcasts recorded music, poetry and messages."
