Card Error

Grrrr.

Escaped Threipmuir this evening for a walk with Mr S, No 3 and her bike.

Took loads of blips and tried to import to Lightroom. There was an error, no my card can't be read by the laptop or the camera.

I'm reluctant to reformat - in case there is something else I can do?

Thankfully I only lost this evening photos as I import everynight for blips.

Any hints??
