Small tortoiseshell

Rather sad this.
Found it on our driveway this morning.
It is rather bedraggled, was struggling to fly, and appeared to have some spider's web attached to one wing. It had clearly had a bad night.
Poor thing! I think it was near death, and I felt rather down and helpless.
