In Flanders Fields

Today I took my parents to a new memorial in town. A group of residents in a suburb of Wolves have planted a field of poppies, to celebrate the centenary of the First World War. Planted earlier this year, the field is now in full bloom and looked beautiful on this sunny afternoon.
