Stoat

We went to Lackford Lakes today hoping to see the Kingfisher, but no chance I think he was keeping cool somewhere from the 30 degrees that we've had today. We did see a Heron, Little Egret, lots of waterfowl, and Red Admiral and Brimstone Butterflies but on the walk back to the car we happened across a family of four young stoats. They kept us amused for several minutes and we were able to get some nice photographs of them but this one stood out from the rest.
Wouldn't you believe, when we got home we took a drink to have sitting by the river and the first bird we saw was a Kingfisher - Sod's Law or what!
