Cane Fire in the Valley.

It's cane fire season again and every year I try, unsuccessfully, to take a half decent photo of a raging fire glowing in the black of night. It just doesn't work for me....you really have to be here to see the brilliance of it all.

Anyway, just on dusk, I saw a small cane fire right in front of Mount Warning, so it might give you a tiny idea of what it may look like at night....or maybe not! Like I said, you really have to see it for yourself. And this fire is just a teeny-weeny baby sized fire, compared to most. And the sky had a lovely orangey glow to it tonight too, very pretty. :)
