What ever possessed me....

.... to take up blipping in the middle of winter, I shall never know.

It's 2 years to the day, and it's doing my head in.

All I needed was a bit of sun. Not too much to ask surely. But this winter's day has carried on in the same way as has it has done for the past few weeks.

Very dull, very dark, and very windy - and raining in between times.

I belted into the Park hoping against hope that I would find an orchid - or anything really. But to be honest it was more than a bit scary with the wind roaring through the trees. I didn't dare venture in very far, and apart from a few wattles, this was the only flower in sight.

I don't know what else to say. I'm so sorry for the lack of comments, especially when everyone is so generous towards me.

I love that we have made so many friends, both on Blip and in the real world.

I love that we have an incredible archive of images and memories.

I love that I have learnt an incredible amount about photography. I was just looking at some of my very early images, and cringing a bit.

I love that I have been taught to see my world in a different way.

So I guess I love Blip. We have our ups and downs, but I don't really think I'm ready to abandon the relationship quite just yet.
