Turbulent Tuesday

It was another evening of turbulent stormy weather making the commute home a nightmare. For some reason, whenever it rains here in D.C., people drive like they are in snow. The good news is that this evening's storms are bringing in cooler, dryer weather.

This is a shot of some variegated ornamental grass at the fence corner on our property. I shot it in color first and realized that it looked quite monochromatic in the late evening stormy light. It actually looked much better in B&W.

I think it looks quite nice in Large, too.
