I was lucky to have a day with friends today.
One of them is house sitting, and we were invited (with permission from the lovely owner) to join her .
It's been a long day; a long journey from home.
One of those Summer days when time seems to stand still.
But, a day for catching up with news.
A day for laughter.
A day for wisdom.
A day for mutual support.
And fragrant roses and honeysuckle and jasmine.

Almost perfect.
