Blipping a view from St John’s Point, McSwynes Bay
In the morning , I tried to walk Portnoo beach in between some heavy rain showers, but as often happens in Donegal, Inca & I got soaked.
I headed off in the afternoon to St John’s Point for some sightseeing (& only learnt later of the terrible drowning tragedy that had happened) before meeting up with the South West Donegal birdwatchers for a meal in Mountcharles & some owl spotting & bat watching, no owls to be seen this time, but hopefully on another occasion, but lots of bats. Despite the rain, it was a fun evening.
When the cloud cover broke up, the super moon was visible, there is to be another on 10 August & 9 September clear sky permitting, apparently, not that I will be able to get a decent photo.
