Pretty Penstemon

This delicate perennial makes a lovely splash of gentle colour in the boarders. They are referred to as beardtongue which seems a bit rough for such a delicate little flower ;-/


Even without a macro lens, all the fine tiny hairs on the edges of the blooms, in fact all over, show up well and they look so lovely in the sunshine ;-)
