Baby Shower

There's five of us girls in our "possee crew" as my Dad used to call it. We went to playgroup together, schools together, three of us live in the same village as each other. We've been there to support each other through the good times, the bad times, and the absolutely drunken-silly-dancing-the-night-away times. The last one of my girls is due to have a baby boy next month. We're so looking forward to the newest member of our little group arriving. The mummy-to-be lives a two and a half hour drive away, so today we all descended on her to give her a baby shower. The afternoon was spent eating sparkly cupcakes, coo'ing over baby gro's and teddy bears, and playing silly games.

The photo today is a quick snap of the nappy cake I made on behalf of the "possee crew" for the lovely mummy-and-daddy-to-be. On the left is a little book - now full of words of wisdom and advice!!
