Nostalgia

When I was 19 I got a pair of yellow docs, they were quite the coolest thing I owned, right up until I bought a metallic purple beetle (with extra metallic). Daisy has grown out of her red boots and without any influence from me chose a yellow pair to replace them. They make me feel all nostalgic (and old).

In other news I live in a seaside town which is looking and feeling particularly lovely at the moment. And I have a beach hut. And I am never here to enjoy any of it except when I get home after work too tired to do anything. I need to put that right this weekend as long as I can organise myself a new car in my lunch break on Thursday. I always work best with a stretch target.....
