Argh! ....leggit!

At least that is effect a scarecrow is supposed to have on birds.
This swooping gull totally ignored the very best efforts of Worzel Gummidge to see him off.
Mrs BR drove past this field earlier today and called me to say there was a nice scarecrow at the back of a field of waving grass!
When I got there 30 mins later, Mr Tractor had been through and reduced it to hay!
Ah well, never mind I still like the lovely green background.
Torteval parish, one of our more rural and countrified parishes hold an annual scarecrow competition and you see a large number of scarecrows appearing in garden and fields everywhere.
Good fun but you may not want to wander around there at dusk!
